(1) Vendor needs to provide vehicle impound and tow management solution.– A vehicle impound and tow management solution that provides total management of dispatch, towing, and impound services as directed by the city required for an efficient, easily–accessible, and customer service– oriented process related to all city–requested tows.– Provide and maintain, at contractor's expense, sufficient hardware and software to provide the services outlined in the agreement and the operations plan.– Maintain a central dispatch at the primary storage facility, which will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.– Provide a dedicated telephone line to be used exclusively for communications between central dispatch and city.– The software/data management system will allow the Mayor's Action Center to conveniently report Abandoned Vehicles to Contractor, which may be accomplished by means of email communication.– Software will allow uploads of photos of impounded vehicle by tow driver, which are viewable by city personnel with administrative rights.– Software will dispatch closest tow driver to location of tow.– Software will allow IMPD personnel with administrative rights to release investigative holds.– Central Dispatch: provide a dedicated telephone line to be used exclusively for communications between Central Dispatch and City. Contractor will provide an alternative means of communication to be used as a backup.(2) A pre–bid meeting will be held on June 20, 2024.(3) All questions must be submitted no later than June 24, 2024.(4) Develop or at any time develops an application for use on mobile devices (i.e. iPhone/iPad, Android devices, etc.)
